We offer 8-week classes and Friday night workshops in wheel throwing and handbuilding.
All 8-week classes include 2.5 hrs of free open studio time for the session.
8-Wk ALL LEVELS Wheel Class Monday Mornings w/ Emily (10:00AM-12:30PM)
This wheel throwing class runs for eight weeks and meets once per week on Monday mornings from 10AM-12:30PM. Learn how to make functional ceramic art on the potter’s wheel including mugs, cups, bowls, vases, jars and more!
For all levels: open to beginning and returning students.
Class Limit: 8 Participants
*All materials except for clay are included in eight-week classes. Bags of clay will be available for purchase the first day of class for $30 to $40 + tax.
Generally, one bag of clay (25 lbs) will be enough for eight weeks.

This handbuilding class runs for eight weeks and meets once per week on Wednesday mornings from 9:00AM-11:30AM. Learn to use slabs of clay and other handbuilding techniques to make functional and decorative art (i.e. mugs, vases, trinket trays, candle holders, earrings, etc.).
For all levels: open to beginning and returning students.

Taper Candle Holder Workshop (Handbuilding) - Friday 7/10/26
Learn to form and connect slabs of clay and/or pinch pot forms to create a functional set of taper candle holders! Students may create up to four candle holders (two sets) and will choose a glaze. Projects will be ready for pickup a few weeks after class after being fired. Taught by Mia.

A two-hour wheel throwing experience for beginners to try out wheel throwing. No pieces are kept or fired. Come have some fun! This class will be taught by Ella.

Slab Mug Workshop (Handbuilding) - Friday 8/14/26
Create your own functional mug out of slabs of speckled clay using texture tools and templates! Students will create their own mug and choose a glaze. Staff will glaze and fire the mugs, which will be ready for pickup a few weeks after class. Taught by Mia.

Botanical Serving Plates Workshop (Handbuilding) - Friday 9/11/26
Create your own botanical serving plate out of clay! Learn to apply texture to clay using leaves and plants to make beautiful, functional serving trays. Feel free to bring your own botanical material though plenty will be provided. Students will pick a glaze and staff will glaze and fire the pieces, which will be ready for pickup a few weeks after class. Taught by Mia.
