Play with Clay (Wheel Throwing) - Sunday 10/26/25
A two-hour wheel throwing experience for beginners to try out wheel throwing. No pieces are kept or fired. Come have some fun! This class will be taught by Jess.

7-Wk ALL LEVELS Wheel Class Monday Nights w/ Lizzy (5:30PM-8:00PM)
This wheel throwing class runs for seven weeks and meets once per week on Monday nights from 5:30PM-8PM. There will be NO CLASS the week of November 24th. Learn how to make functional ceramic art on the potter’s wheel including mugs, cups, bowls, vases, jars and more!
For all levels: open to beginning and returning students.
Class Limit: 8 Participants
*All materials except for clay are included in eight-week classes. Bags of clay will be available for purchase the first day of class for $30 to $40 + tax.
Generally, one bag of clay (25 lbs) will be enough for eight weeks.

This wheel throwing class runs for seven weeks and meets once per week on Tuesday mornings from 10:00AM-12:30PM. There will be NO CLASS the week of November 24th. A freeform class to help people get better at throwing pottery.

This handbuilding class runs for seven weeks and meets once per week on Thursday mornings from 9:00AM-11:30AM. There will be NO CLASS the week of November 24th. Learn to use slabs of clay and other handbuilding techniques to make functional and decorative art (i.e. mugs, vases, trinket trays, candle holders, earrings, etc.).
For all levels: open to beginning and returning students.

Charcuterie Board Workshop (Handbuilding) - Saturday 11/8/25
Create your own charcuterie board out of clay! Lizzy (instructor) will present various techniques to create a charcuterie board using a slab of speckled clay. Students will pick a glaze and staff will glaze and fire the pieces, which will be ready for pickup a couple weeks after class.
This class is being co-hosted by Coastal Connect, a local women’s group.
Coastal Connect is a local women’s community that brings women together to uplift and support one another’s passions while enjoying all that the Monterey Peninsula has to offer. Holiday Ornament Workshop (Handbuilding) - Friday 12/5/25
Make up to 10 handmade ornaments from scratch and take them home in time for the holidays! Students will use texture tools, cookie cutters, and wonderglaze to make and decorate their own ornaments. All materials included. Ornaments will be ready for pickup a couple weeks after class with ribbon for hanging them provided. This class will be taught by Jess. Come have some fun and get in the holiday spirit!
